What the smiling check means
A filled bus wears a green smiling check on its roof. It means the crew is complete — not that the bus has left.
Ready is not the same as gone
The badge appears the moment a bus holds the right passengers. The bus still has to wait its turn: if the lane ahead is blocked, it sits there wearing its check until the route clears.
So when you see several badges and nothing moving, the lane is the problem, not the passengers.
Why a badge instead of a word
A word on the roof is hard to read once the board gets dense. The check is readable in the angled and overhead camera views, on any bus colour, without covering the passengers underneath it — and it stays visible when a bus is lifted for a closer look.
Once a bus is complete its seats are read-only. You will not spend a move on it by accident.
